I am a PhD student at the Serrano lab. The main project of my thesis consists of engineering attenuated strains of Mycoplasma pneumoniae for the treatment for Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. In parallel, I am developing tools for protein screening in the fast-growing species Mycoplasma feriruminatoris.
Background

2019-2020: MSc in Applied Biosciences and Biotechnology at Imperial College London.
2015-2019: BSc in Biotechnology with a Year in Research Abroad at Imperial College London. Internship at the IBMC Strasbourg during the 3rd year of the degree at the Pfeffer lab.
