In 2020, I joined Prof. Dr. Luis Serrano’s Lab as a post-doctoral researcher. Since then, I have opened a new line of research to apply all the knowledge developed in systems biology for the design of  new pulmonary therapies based on the use of Mycoplasma pnuemoniae for infectious and non-infectious diseases, such as cancer or idiopatic fibrosis. We combine the interesting properties of M. pneumoniae (mainly related with the lack of extracelullar wall) with protein design to locally modulate the immune system of the lung.
