In my current postdoctoral position at Luis Serrano’s lab, my main objective aims to increase our understanding on how metabolic and signaling pathways become dysregulated during Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and contribute to inflammatory processes. In my research projects, I am particularly interested in deciphering the critical role played by human monocytes and Retinal Pigmented Epithelial cells.
